Israel Vergara, chief executive of the fourth edition of the JSM3 congress.

Currently at the 3rd year PhD in the LCB, working on the regulation of the dif TCSS for EPS production in Myxococcus xanthus.







Pauline Touarin, treasurer of the JSM3 association.

Currently at the second year of PhD hold in the labatory of Françoise Guerlesquin and working on the dephicering of a novel mechanism regulating Galectin1-glycan lattice interactions during pre-B cell development.






Flora Honorè, secretary of the JSM3 student association and involved in the Funding team of the JSM3.

Currently working as an engineer in Vincent Méjean’s lab under the supervision of Olivier Genest on the role of the Hsp90 chaperone protein in the Gram negative Shewanella oneidensis bacterial species.






Pierre-Xavier Maziani, co-responsible for the communication and of partnership with other Aix-Marseille University associations. Involved in the design of the website and in the Funding team of the JSM3.

Currently a third PhD student under supervision of Pascal Arnoux (LBC, CEA Cadarache) and Anne Walburger (LCB, CNRS Marseille), working on the activation mechanism of Formate Dehydrogenases in E. coli.




Hanna Bismuth, co-responsible for the communication and of partnership with other Aix-Marseille University associations. and also involved in the Funding team of the JSM3.

Currently at the first year of PhD hold in the laboratory of Emanuele Biondi and working on the cutest bacteria, Caulobacter crescentus, more exactly on the cell cycle regulation by the protein GcrA and CcrM-dependant methylation.








Martino Benvenuti, co-responsible of the communication and of partnership with other Aix-Marseille University associations (MODocC and Hippo'these).

Involved in the design of the website and in the Funding team of the JSM3.

Currently at the second year of the PhD hold in the laboratory of Christophe Léger (http://bip.cnrs-mrs.fr/bip06/) is working on the Ni-Fe carbon monoxide dehydrogenases.




Jean-Raphaël Fantino, Communication Manager of the JSM3. He is from the Laboratoire de Chimie Bactérienne (LCB, IMM, CNRS) and he is committed to bring his precious communication skills to make the JSM3 Congress a success.
